RANCANG BANGUN APLIKASI PENDAFTARAN ONLINE SANTRI BARU PONDOK PESANTREN ROUDLOTUL MUTA’ALLIMIN BERBASIS WEB MENGGUNAKAN METODE RAPID APLICATION DEVELOPMENT

Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah mendorong terjadinya digitalisasi di berbagai sektor, termasuk sektor pendidikan berbasis pesantren. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan aplikasi pendaftaran santri baru yang berbasis web di Pondok Pesantren Roudlotul Muta’allimin dengan menerapkan metode Rapid Application Development (RAD). Metode ini dipilih karena kemampuannya dalam mempercepat proses pengembangan aplikasi melalui pendekatan yang iteratif dan kolaboratif. Sistem yang dirancang mencakup berbagai fitur utama, antara lain registrasi pengguna, pengisian formulir pendaftaran, pengunggahan dokumen, verifikasi pembayaran, serta pengelolaan data oleh pihak administrasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan perancangan sistem dengan pemodelan Data Flow Diagram (DFD), Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD), dan prototipe antarmuka pengguna. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini mampu meningkatkan efisiensi proses pendaftaran, mengurangi penggunaan kertas, serta memberikan kemudahan akses bagi calon santri dan pihak pondok. Pengujian sistem dilakukan untuk memastikan bahwa fungsionalitasnya berjalan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna, dengan hasil pengujian yang menunjukkan bahwa seluruh modul sistem berfungsi secara optimal.

The development of information technology has encouraged digitalization in various sectors, including the pesantren-based education sector. This research aims to design and develop a web-based new student registration application at Roudlotul Muta'allimin Islamic Boarding School by applying the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. This method was chosen because of its ability to accelerate the application development process through an iterative and collaborative approach. The designed system includes various main features, including user registration, filling out registration forms, uploading documents, verifying payments, and managing data by the administration. This research uses a system design approach with Data Flow Diagram (DFD) modeling, Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD), and user interface prototypes. The implementation results show that this system is able to improve the efficiency of the registration process, reduce the use of paper, and provide easy access for prospective students and the boarding school. System testing is carried out to ensure that the functionality runs according to user needs, with test results showing that all system modules function optimally.
