RANCANG BANGUN APLIKASI ABSENSI SISWA PRAKERIN BERBASIS WEB PADA SMK ITABA SIDOARJO

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah pencatatan Presensi siswa Praktek Kerja Industri (Prakerin) yang masih dilakukan secara manual di SMK Itaba Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis proses pencatatan dan pemantauan absensi siswa Prakerin guna mengidentifikasi kelemahan yang menghambat efisiensi. Selanjutnya, dikembangkan metode atau sistem baru yang lebih efisien,
serta dirancang dan dikembangkan aplikasi absensi siswa Prakerin berbasis web sesuai kebutuhan sekolah..
Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode waterfall. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pencatatan absensi memerlukan pengawasan dari guru pembimbing lapangan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah aplikasi web Prakerin SMK Itaba dapat dijalankan melalui browser, menunjang administrasi pelaporan baik di pihak industri maupun sekolah, dan dengan validasi kehadiran siswa oleh guru pembimbing lapangan, diharapkan dapat menekan kecurangan
absensi siswa di tempat industri

The background of this research is the manual recording of student attendance for industrial internships (Prakerin) at SMK Itaba Sidoarjo. This study aims to analyze the process of recording and monitoring student attendance for Prakerin to identify weaknesses that hinder efficiency. Subsequently, a more efficient method or system was developed, and a web-based student attendance application was designed and developed according to the school's needs.
The methodology used in this research is the waterfall method. The results show that attendance recording requires supervision from field guidance teachers. The conclusion of this study is that the SMK Itaba Prakerin web application can be accessed through a browser, supports administrative reporting for both the industry and the school, and with the validation of student attendance by field guidance teachers, it is expected to reduce attendance fraud by students at the industry sites.
