Abstract
Perkembangan teknologi telah memberikan pengaruh signifikan dalam pendidikan siswa, terutama melalui penggunaan perangkat mobile seperti smartphone dan tablet. Dalam konteks ini, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan sebuah game edukasi berbasis Android menggunakan metode Waterfall yang bertujuan untuk membantu siswa dalam mempelajari komponen mobil. Game ini memiliki beberapa fitur utama, termasuk materi mengenai komponen mobil, pencocokan komponen mesin mobil, dan latihan menjawab soal. Dalam tahap materi, Siswa akan diperkenalkan dengan berbagai jenis komponen mesin mobil, peralatan dan jenis perawatan. Mereka akan diajak untuk mengidentifikasi komponen mobil dan mengetahui fungsi – fungsi komponen yang
ada pada mesin mobil.
Bagaimana pembuatan game komponen mobil menggunkan metode yang digunakan yaitu SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) dengan metode Waterfall. Game ini dikembangkan menggunakan platform Android untuk memungkinkan akses yang mudah dan luas bagi pengguna. Metode Waterfall merupakan pendekatan SDLC paling awal yang digunakan untuk pengembangan perangkat
lunak. Urutan dalam Metode Waterfall bersifat serial yang dimulai dari proses perencanaan, analisa, desain, dan implementasi pada sistem. Waterfall adalah serangkaian langkah yang harus diselesaikan satu demi satu (Anda tidak dapat melompat ke level berikutnya) dan dilakukan secara berurutan.
Melalui penggunaan game edukasi ini, diharapkan siswa dapat belajar dengan cara yang menyenangkan dan interaktif, meningkatkan kemampuan pengenalan komponen mesin mobil. Game ini juga dapat menjadi sarana interaksi antara siswa dan guru dalam mendukung perkembangan pendidikan anak.

Technological developments have had a significant impact on student education, especially through the use of mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets. In this context, this study aims to design and develop an Android-based
educational game using the Waterfall method which aims to assist students in learning car components. This game has several main features, including material about car components, matching car engine components, and practice answering questions.In the material stage, students will be introduced to various types of car engine components, equipment and types of maintenance. They will be invited to
identify car components and find out the functions of the components in a car engine. This will help improve students' understanding and visual recognition skills and knowledge. In addition, this game also provides an introduction to car
components and practice answering questions.
How to make car component games using the method used, namely SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) with the Waterfall method. This game was developed using the Android platform to allow easy and wide access for users. The Waterfall method is the earliest SDLC approach used for software development. The sequence in the Waterfall Method is serial, starting from the process of planning, analysis, design, and implementation of the system. A waterfall is a series of steps that must be completed one after another (you cannot skip to the next level) and are carried out in order.
Through the use of this educational game, it is hoped that students can learn in a fun and interactive way, improve their ability to recognize car engine components. This game can also be a means of interaction between students and
teachers in supporting educational development.
