Abstract
Skripsi ini membahas tentang bagaimana mengembangkan PowerPoint berbasis aplikasi Canva untuk pembelajaran materi Descriptive Text siswa kelas X SMP Islam SMK Krembung. Tujuannya adalah untuk menjelaskan cara mengembangkan PowerPoint berbasis aplikasi Canva. Penelitian ini menghasilkan media pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan oleh guru untuk mengajar teks deskriptif di kelas. Desain penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan yang menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi, dan Evaluasi). Peneliti melakukan analisis kebutuhan siswa dan analisis kurikulum, kemudian merancang media pembelajaran PowerPoint (PPT) berbasis aplikasi Canva, dan mengembangkan desain yang tersedia untuk aplikasi tersebut, setelah itu memasuki tahap implementasi di kelas X di SMKI Krembung dan mengevaluasi proses implementasi. Hasil penelitian ini peneliti memperoleh penilaian validasi dari ahli media dan ahli materi dengan skor persentase untuk media sebesar 83,33% dan materi sebesar 100% dengan kategori “Sangat Baik”. Berdasarkan PPT pada siswa kelas X SMK Islam Krembung dengan respon positif dari siswa sebesar 88,46% dengan kategori “Sangat Baik”. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi dan evaluasi PowerPoint berbasis aplikasi Canva layak dan efektif untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran untuk
mengajar Descriptive text.

This thesis discusses how to develop PowerPoint based on the Canva application to teach Descriptive Text material for tenth-grade students at the Krembung Vocational Islamic Middle School. The goal is to describe how to develop PowerPoint based on the Canva application. This research produces learning media that can be used by the teacher to teach descriptive text in the classroom. The design of this research is developmental research that used ADDIE development model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The researcher analysis the students’ need and curriculum analysis, then design PowerPoint learning media (PPT) based on the Canva application, and develop the designs available for the application, after that, it enters the implementation stage in class ten at SMKI Krembung and evaluates the implementation process. The results of this study, the researcher obtained validation assessments from media experts and material experts with a percentage score for media of 83.33% and material of 100% with the category "Excellent". Based PPT on tenth-grade students of the Vocational Islamic Middle School Krembung with a positive response from students of 88.46% in the "Excellent" category. This shows that implementation and evaluation PowerPoint based on the Canva application is feasible and effective for use as a learning medium for teaching Descriptive text.
