Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses dan hasil pengembangan video berdasarkan aplikasi KineMaster untuk mengajar teks deskriptif pada siswa kelas tujuh menggunakan model ADDIE. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalahkurangnya keterampilan berbicara dan penguasaan kosa kata karena guru jarang menggunakan media pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan model ADDIE dengan 5 tahapan yaitu (1) menganalisis kurikulum, karakteristik siswa, dan materi; (2) merancang materi dan RPP sebagai bahan video; (3) mengembangkan materi menjadi video dan memvalidasikannya kepada validator; (4) menerapkan video dalam satu pertemuan
pembelajaran di kelas; (5) mengevaluasi dengan memberikan kuisioner kepada siswa. Objek penelitian adalah video dan subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas tujuh MTs Sabilil Khoir Glagaharum Porong. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, kuisioner, dan dokumentasi. Hasil validasi video dari penelitian ini adalah mendapatkan jumlah skor 22 dengan persentase 61% pada validasi pertama dari ahli media, kemudian mendapatkan jumlah skor 33 dengan
persentase 91% pada validasi kedua dari ahli media, serta mendapatkan jumlah skor 20 dengan persentase 83% dari ahli materi. Hasil implementasi dari penelitian ini adalah mendapat respon positif dari 20 siswa, dengan persentase 95%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, media pembelajaran video berdasarkan aplikasi KineMaster layak digunakan dalam pengajaran dan pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris.

This research aims to describe the process and the result of developing a video based on the KineMaster application to teach descriptive text to seventh graders using the ADDIE model. The background of this research is the lack of speaking skills and vocabulary mastery because teachers rarely use learning media. This type of research is development research. This research uses the ADDIE model with 5 stages, namely (1) analyzing the curriculum, student characteristics, and materials; (2) designing materials and lesson plans as video materials; (3) developing material
into videos and validating them to the validator; (4) implementing video in one class learning meeting; (5) evaluating by giving questionnaires to students. The object of this research is a video and the subject of this research is the seventh-grade students of MTs Sabilil Khoir Glagaharum Porong. Data collection techniques in this
research were interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The results of video validation were to get a total score of 22 with a percentage of 61% in the first validation from media experts, then get a total score of 33 with a percentage of 91% in the second validation from media experts, and get a total score of 20 with a percentage of 83% from material experts. The results of the implementation of this research were to get a positive response from 20 students, and the percentage was 95%. Based on the research results, video learning media based on the KineMaster application are suitable for use in teaching and learning English.
