Abstract

Skripsi ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Digital Flashcards untuk siswa kelas 7 untuk pengajaran teks deskriptif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian mental yang menggunakan model ADDIE. Dalam Model ADDIE terdapat lima tahapan. Pertama adalah tahap analisis, peneliti menganalisis kebutuhan media pembelajaran siswa dan seorang guru bahasa Inggris, menganalisis materi, dan kompetensi dasar, serta menentukan indikator yang harus dicapai oleh siswa. Yang kedua adalah tahap desain, semua materi sudah diunduh pada tahap ini. Tahap ketiga adalah tahap pengembangan, diperoleh produk utuh yang divalidasi oleh ahli media dan ahli materi. Keempat adalah tahap implementasi, flashcard digital dilaksanakan di kelas tujuh. Kelima adalah tahap evaluasi, peneliti mengevaluasi semua kuesioner dari seorang guru bahasa Inggris dan siswa. Wawancara, kuesioner, dan dokumentasi merupakan teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar wawancara, lembar angket, dan lembar analisis dokumentasi. Hasil validasi ahli media menunjukkan bahwa 90% tergolong “Sangat Baik”. Hasil validasi ahli materi menunjukkan 95% tergolong “Sangat Baik”. Hasil lembar respon guru Bahasa Inggris menyatakan flashcard digital dikategorikan “Sangat Baik”. Hasil lembar respon siswa diperoleh persentase sebesar 87,5%. Jadi, dari hasil validasi dan lembar jawaban, Digital Flashcards dinyatakan layak untuk diterapkan dalam pembelajaran teks deskriptif.

This thesis aims to develop a Digital Flashcards for 7th grader for teaching Descriptive text. This research is develop-mental research that applies ADDIE Model. In the ADDIE Model there are five stages. The first is the analysis stage, the researcher analyzed the learning media needs of students and an English teacher, analyzed the materials, and basic competence, also determined the indicators that have to be achieved by the students. The second is the design stage, all the materials were downloaded in this stage. The third is the development stage, was gotten an intact product was validated by media and materials experts. The fourth is the implementation stage, a digital flashcard was implemented in the seventh grade. The fifth is the evaluation stage, the researcher evaluated all questionnaires from an English teacher and students. An interview, questionnaires, and documentation were the data collection techniques of this research. An interview sheet, questionnaire sheets, and documentation analysis sheets were the research instruments. The results of the media expert validation revealed that 90% were classified as "Excellent." Material experts' validation results showed that 95% were classified as "Excellent." The results of an English teacher response sheet stated a digital flashcard was categorized as “Excellent”. Student response sheet results obtained a percentage of 87,5%. So, from the result of validation and response sheets, a Digital Flashcards was told worthy to be
applied for the teaching descriptive text.
