Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap hasil belajar mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) pada materi transformasi energi siswa kelas IV SDN Sidokepung I Buduran Sidoarjo. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi transformasi energi akibat penggunaan model pembelajaran yang kurang variatif dan minimnya aktivitas peserta didik dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen jenis One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes hasil belajar yang terdiri dari pretest dan posttest. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 21 peserta didik yang diambil dari kelas IV-B SDN Sidokepung I Buduran. Hasil analisis data menggunakan uji paired sample t-test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi (Sig. 2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, yang berarti terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara hasil pretest dan posttest. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terhadap hasil belajar IPAS peserta didik pada materi transformasi energi. Model ini mampu meningkatkan pemahaman konsep, keterlibatan, serta motivasi belajar peserta didik.

This study aims to determine the influence of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on student learning outcomes in the subject of Science and Social Studies (IPAS), specifically on the topic of energy transformation in Grade IV at SDN Sidokepung I Buduran, Sidoarjo. The background of this research is the low student learning outcomes on the topic of energy transformation, caused by the use of less varied learning models and the lack of active student engagement during the learning process. This study employed a quantitative approach using an experimental method with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Data were collected through learning outcome tests consisting of a pretest and a posttest. The research sample consisted of 21 students from Class IV-B at SDN Sidokepung I Buduran. Data analysis using the paired sample t-test showed a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference between the pretest and posttest results. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning model has a significant influence on students' learning outcomes in IPAS on the topic of energy transformation. This model has proven effective in enhancing conceptual understanding, engagement, and learning motivation.
