Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media ajar digital untuk materi teks prosedur pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris kelas tujuh dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). Media ajar memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung keberhasilan pembelajaran dengan menyesuaikan materi terhadap relevansi, konteks, dan kebutuhan siswa. Tahap analisis dilakukan melalui observasi kelas di MTs. Jawahirul Ulum Sidoarjo untuk mengidentifikasi kesulitan siswa, metode pengajaran, serta kebutuhan media pembelajaran. Pada tahap desain, media ajar digital dibuat dalam format PowerPoint yang dikombinasikan dengan aplikasi Canva, memuat materi dari sumber online dan lembar kerja siswa, serta dilengkapi audio dan video pembelajaran. Tahap pengembangan difokuskan pada penyusunan presentasi yang menarik dan interaktif. Media yang telah dikembangkan kemudian diimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran dengan bimbingan peneliti. Keterlibatan siswa dan guru diamati melalui pengisian angket dan observasi langsung terhadap perilaku dan partisipasi siswa. Evaluasi dilakukan terhadap hasil belajar siswa, respons guru dan siswa, serta efektivitas media melalui evaluasi formatif dan sumatif. Produk akhir dari penelitian ini adalah media ajar digital berbasis PowerPoint untuk materi teks prosedur dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris kelas tujuh.

This research aims to develop digital teaching media for procedural text material in seventh-grade English using the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate) development model. Teaching media plays a crucial role in supporting successful learning by adapting the material to the relevance, context, and needs of students. The analysis phase was conducted through classroom observations at MTs. Jawahirul Ulum Sidoarjo to identify student difficulties, teaching methods, and learning media needs. In the design phase, the digital teaching media was created in PowerPoint format combined with the Canva application, containing materials from online sources and student worksheets, and supplemented with audio and video learning. The development phase focused on creating engaging and interactive presentations. The developed media was then implemented in the classroom under the guidance of the researcher. Student and teacher engagement was assessed through questionnaires and direct observation of student behavior and participation. Evaluations were conducted on student learning outcomes, teacher and student responses, and media effectiveness through formative and summative evaluations. The final product of this study was a PowerPoint-based digital learning medium for procedural texts in seventh-grade English.
