Abstract

Penelitian dilakukan di SDI Wahid Hasyim Sidoarjo, dimana saat dilakukan observasi dikelas IV menunjukkan kurang aktif dan kritis pada peserta didik selama proses pembelajaran, untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik peneliti menerapkan model pembelajaran team games tournament berupa petualangan bersama peta. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 27 peserta didik kelas IV. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif eksperimen deengan desaign One Group Pre-test Post-test dengan masing-masing 5 soal berbeda. Soal Pre-test dilakukan dengan memberikan cerita pendek tanpa adanya penerapan model pembelajaran TGT, sedangkan Post-test di berikan perlakuan menggunakan model pembelajaran TGT. Hasil uji normalitas menunjukkan bahwa data pada pre-test 0,196 dan post-test 0,026 dalam nilai signifikan yang teruji normal. Hasil uji Paired Sampel T-test menunjukkan nilai Sig. sebesar 0.001<0.05, hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dalam kemapuan berpikir kritis atara pre-test dan post-test. Rata-rata nilai pre-test adalah 37,22, sedangkan post-test 87,59. Hal tersebut menunjuukan bahwa adanya pengaruh model pembelajaran TGT terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas IV.

The research was conducted at SDI Wahid Hasyim Sidoarjo, where when observations were made in class IV, it showed that students were less active and critical during the learning process. To improve students' critical thinking skills, the researchers applied a team games tournament learning model in the form of adventures with maps. The research sample consisted of 27 grade IV students. This research uses a quantitative experimental method with a One Group Pre-test Post-test design with 5 different questions each. The pre-test questions were carried outby giving a short story without applying the TGT learning model, while the post-test was treated using the TGT learning model. The results of the normality test show that the data in the pre-test is 0.196 and the post-test is 0.026 in a significant value which is tested as normal. The results of the Paired Sample T-test show a Sig value. amounting to 0.001<0.05, this indicates that there is a significant difference in critical thinking ability between the pre-test and post-test. The average pre-test score was 37.22, while the post-test was 87.59. This shows that there is an influence of the TGT learning model on the critical thinking abilities of class IV students.
