Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan karena kurangnya keantusiasan dan kemandirian peserta didik selama berlangsungnya belajar yang membuat kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kurang terlatih terutama pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, tujuan dari penyelidikan ini yakni guna menjelaskan pengaruh model belajar creative problem solving pada kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas IV sekolah dasar, penelitian ini menerapan metode kuantitatif the one group pretest-posttest design. Populasi penyelidikan ini sebanyak 35 peserta didik serta hasil yang di peroleh dalam penelitian ini melalui uji hipotesis (uji paired sampel t-test) didapat bahwasanya nilai Sig. (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,05 yang artinya, model belajar creative problem solving ada pengaruh pada kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas IV SDN Suko 2 Sidoarjo dan mengalami penigkatan pada setiap indikator kemampuan berpikir kritis.

This research was conducted due to the lack of enthusiasm and independence among students during the learning process, which resulted in their critical thinking skills being underdeveloped, particularly in the subject of Indonesian language. The aim of this study is to explain the influence of the Creative Problem Solving learning model on the critical thinking skills of fourth-grade elementary school students. This study applies a quantitative method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population of this study consists of 35 students, and the results obtained through hypothesis testing (paired sample t-test) indicate that the Sig. (2-tailed) value is 0.000 < 0.05, meaning that the Creative Problem Solving learning model has an effect on the critical thinking skills of fourth-grade students at SDN Suko 2 Sidoarjo, showing an improvement in each indicator of critical thinking skills.
