Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh temuan dari hasil observasi penulis yang menyatakan bahwa hasil belajar IPA Siswa Kelas V SD Plus Cahaya Budaya pada materi wujud benda masih dirasa kurang karena metode yang sudah dipakai oleh
guru dirasa juga masih kurang berhasil karena dapat dilihat dari hasil belajar siswa pada materi wujud benda nilainya masih dibawah KKM. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah IPA siswa Kelas V SD Plus Cahaya
Budaya pada materi wujud benda. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitaif, dengan menggunakan desain One Shot Case Study, pada design ini terdapat suatu kelompok yang diberi treatment/perlakuan, dan
selanjutnya diobservasi hasilnya (treatment adalah sebagai variabel independen dengan instrument berupa seperangkat soal pretest dan postest berkaitan dengan materi IPA. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes pretest dan postes dan instrument penelitian berupa seperangkat soal yang dikerjakan oleh siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan terhadap pembelajaran model pembelajaran problem based learning. Hal ini terbukti dari
nilai t hitung 51,999 > t tabel 1,706 dan nilai (Sig) 0,000 < 0,05. Peningkatan siswa setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran problem based learning dapat dillihat dari hasil belajar pretest dan posttest. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai rata- rata sesudah diberi perlakuan model pembelajaran model pembelajaran problem based learning atau posttest adalah 74,23, lebih tinggi daripada sebelum diberi
perlakuan model pembelajaran model pembelajaran problem based learning yaitu nilai rata-rata 56,19 maka dapat disimpulkan terhadap pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah IPA materi wujud benda pada siswa kelas V SD Plus Cahaya Budaya.

This research was motivated by findings from the author's observations which stated that the science learning outcomes of Class V SD Plus Cahaya Budaya students in the material form of objects were still felt to be lacking because the
methods that had been used by teachers were felt to be less successful because it could be seen from the students' learning outcomes in the material. The value of the object is still below the KKM. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning learning model on the science problem solving abilities of Class V SD Plus Cahaya Budaya students on the material form of objects. This type of research uses a quantitative research approach, using the One Shot Case Study technique, in this design there is a group that is given treatment, and then the results are observed (treatment is an independent variable
with an instrument in the form of a set of pretest and posttest questions related to science material . Data collection techniques in the form of pretests and posttests
and research instruments in the form of a set of questions worked on by students. The results of the research show that there is a significant influence on learning with the problem based learning model. This is proven by the calculated t value of 51.999 > t table 1.706. Sig) 0.000 < 0.05. Student improvement after applying the problem based learning model can be seen from the pretest and posttest learning results. This is proven by the average score after being treated with the problem based learning model or posttest is 74.23 , higher than before being treated with
the problem based learning model, namely an average value of 56.19, so it can be concluded that the influence of the Problem Based Learning learning model on the ability to solve natural science problems in the form of objects in class V SD Plus Cahaya Budaya students.
