Abstract

Pembelajaran lebih bermakna apabila menggunakan media sebagai upaya mendekatkan peserta didik dengan realitas yang ada atau proses mengaitkan informasi baru pada konsep-konsep relevan yang terdapat dalam struktur kognitif seseorang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kelayakan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan media Pick The Fries pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di kelas IV SDN Jimbaran Wetan. Penelitian menggunakan jenis penelitian pengembangan
atau Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model
pengembangan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, dan Evaluate). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, media memenuhi unsur layak berdasarkan penilaian hasil validasi ahli media sebesar 86% dengan kriteria sangat layak dan validasi ahli
materi sebesar 96% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Hasil respon guru sebesar 100% dengan kriteria baik dan hasil respon peserta didik kelas IV-A sebesar 77% dengan kriteria baik, sehingga media Pick The Fries memenuhi unsur praktis. Hasil keefektifan media Pick The Fries mendapatkan nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 59,93 dan rata-rata posttest sebesar 83,36. Dengan demikian, media Pick The Fries dinyatakan layak, praktis, dan efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia materi teks deskripsi kelas IV di SDN Jimbaran Wetan.

Learning is more meaningful when using media as an effort to bring students closer to existing reality or the process of linking new information to relevant concepts contained in a person's cognitive structure. This research aims to describe the feasibility, practicality and effectiveness of Pick The Fries media in Indonesian language learning in class IV at SDN Jimbaran Wetan. The research uses a type of development research or Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE
(Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluate) development model. Data collection techniques use questionnaires and tests. The results of the research show
that the media meets the appropriate elements based on the assessment of media
expert validation results of 86% with very appropriate criteria and material expert validation of 96% with very appropriate criteria. The teacher response results were
100% with good criteria and the response results from class IV-A students were 77% with good criteria, so that the Pick The Fries media fulfilled the practical element. The results of the effectiveness of the Pick The Fries media obtained an
average pretest score of 59.93 and a posttest average of 83.36. Thus, the Pick The Fries media was declared feasible, practical and effective in improving the learning outcomes of students in Indonesian language subject class IV descriptive text material at SDN Jimbaran Wetan.
