Abstract

This development research was motivated by fifth grade elementary school students who needed learning media in the learning process at the preliminary stage. This development research aims to develop a digital maze game on the ecosystem theme, subtheme 1, the relationship between living things and their environment. The method used in this research is development research using the ADDIE model
which is carried out through 4 stages, namely the analysis stage, design stage, development stage and implementation stage. In developing this digital maze game, researchers developed a food chain to be used as a game in the learning process. Researchers also use data collection techniques through observation and questionnaires. And to develop this digital maze game media, researchers used assessment instruments from the results of material validation and the results of media validation. Having student response questionnaires and teacher response questionnaires can help researchers to develop media in the form of digital maze
games. As a result of this development research, the researcher received a feasibility assessment by a material expert validator with a score of 97 which was included in
the "very feasible" category. Meanwhile, the results of the feasibility assessment by media experts obtained a score of 90 which is included in the "very feasible" category. And there are practical results from the results of the teacher response questionnaire which obtained a score of 80 which is included in the "quite practical" category. For the student response questionnaire, students got 82 which was stated as "quite practical".
