Abstract

Skripsi ini membahas tentang bagaimana mendeskripsikan manajemen kelas in teaching English in ICP class of MTs YPM 1 Wonoayu. Tujuannya adalah untuk mendeskripsikan manajemen kelas guru Bahasa inggris dan mengidentifikasi persepsi guru Bahasa inggris mengenai manajemen kelas. Penelitian ini
menggunakan Teknik dalam pengambilan data meliputi observasi, interview dan kuisioner Jenis penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah descriptive qualitative. Peneliti focus terhadap lima komponen manajemen kelas meliputi physical design of classroom, Rules and Routines, Relationship, Enganging and Motivating Instructional and Discipline. Hasil dari observasi yang lebih dominan dilakukan oleh guru yaitu Rules and Routines yang meliputi teacher check students' attendance before starting the lesson, teacher check and grade student work, and teacher provide information about the material that students must work on. Peneliti menggunakan pengambilan data menggunakan kuisioner. Peneliti menyajikan 10 pernyataan mengenai persepsi guru Bahasa inggris. Hasil dari persepsi guru Bahasa inggris setelah di klasifikasikan guru sangat support dengan kategori komponen RR (rules and routines) yang meliputi aturan dan rutinitas guru selama proses pembelajaran.

This thesis discusses how to describe classroom management in teaching English in ICP class of MTs YPM 1 Wonoayu. The purpose is to describe the classroom management of English teachers and identify the perceptions of English teachers
regarding classroom management. This study uses techniques in data collection including observation, interviews and questionnaires. The type of research used by researchers is descriptive qualitative. Researchers focus on five components of classroom management including physical design of classroom, Rules and Routines, Relationship, Engaging and Motivating Instructional and Discipline. The results of observations that are more dominantly carried out by teachers are Rules and Routines which include teachers check students' attendance before starting the lesson, teachers check and grade student work, and teachers provide information about the material that students must work on. The researcher used data collection using a questionnaire. The researcher presented 10 statements regarding the perceptions of English teachers. The results of English teachers' perceptions after being classified teachers strongly support the RR component category (rules and routines) which includes teacher rules and routines during the learning process.
