Abstract
Skripsi ini membahas mengenai bagaimana mengembangkan multimedia interaktif berbasis aplikasi Articulate Storyline 3 untuk mengajar materi Descriptive Text untuk siswa kelas tujuh di SMPN 2 Waru. Tujuannya untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana cara mengembangkan multimedia interaktif berbasis
aplikasi Articulate Storyline 3. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Hasil dari
penelitian ini, peneliti mendapatkan penilaian validasi dari ahli media dan ahli materi pada rentang presentase 81-100% dengan perolehan skor presentase untuk media sebesar 91,68%, dan materi sebesar 95% dengan kategori “Excellent”. Peneliti juga mengimplementasi hasil pengembangan multimedia interaktif pada siswa kelas tujuh di SMPN 2 Waru dengan respon positif oleh guru dengan persentase sebesar 87,5% serta respon positif dari siswa dengan persentase sebesar
90,66% dengan kategori “Excellent”. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa multimedia interaktif berbasis Articulate Storyline 3 layak dan efektif untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran.

This thesis discusses how to develop interactive multimedia based on the Articulate Storyline 3 application to teach Descriptive Text materials for seventh grade students at SMPN 2 Waru. The purpose is to describe how to develop
interactive multimedia based on the Articulate Storyline 3 application. The type of research used by the researcher is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The results of this study, the researcher obtained validation assessments from media expert and materials expert in the percentage range of 81-100% with a percentage score of 91.68% for media, and 95% for materials in the "Excellent" category. The researcher also implemented the results of developing interactive multimedia for seventh graders at SMPN 2 Waru with a positive response by the teacher with a percentage of 87.5% and a positive response from the students with a percentage of 90.66% in the "Excellent" category. It shows that interactive multimedia based on Articulate Storyline 3 is feasible and effective to be used as a learning media.
