Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah ketertarikan siswa dalam aktivitas belajar menurun, nilai ujian harian siswa dalam materi recount text menurun, dan siswa tidak fokus dan bosan ketika belajar bahasa inggris dalam materi recount text. Aplikasi Heyzine Flipbook Canva untuk membantu pembuatan media digital flipbook. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran digital flipbook menggunakan Heyzine Flipbook Canva. Untuk menguji kelayakan media digital flipbook yang dikembangkan melalui validasi ahli media dan ahli materi. Serta untuk mengetahui kemenarikan respon siswa dan guru dibagikannya angket
respon. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pengembangan. Langkah-langkah penelitian ini berpedoman pada model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Tahap development melibatkan dua validator yaitu ahli media dan ahli materi untuk menilai kelayakan media dan materi. Tahap ini juga melibatkan tiga puluh satu siswa dan satu guru bahasa inggris di SMP Kartini Taman Sidoarjo. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket respon. Hasil validasi dari ahli media yang dilakukan dua kali diperoleh 77% dengan kriteria “Good” dan yang kedua diperoleh 91% dengan kriteria “Excellent”. Hasil validasi dari ahli materi yang dilakukan dua kali diperoleh 75% dengan kriteria “Good” dan yang kedua diperoleh 91% dengan kriteria “Excellent”. Untuk respon siswa dan guru memperoleh skor 100%, maka respon dari kedua belah pihak sangat menarik bagi mereka.

The background of this research is that the students' interest in learning activities decreases, the students' daily test scores in recount text materials decrease, and the students are not focused and bored when learning English in recount text materials. Heyzine Flipbook Canva app to help create digital flipbook media. The purpose of this study is to develop digital flipbook learning media using Heyzine Flipbook Canva. To test the feasibility of digital flipbook media developed through the validation of media expert and material expert. As well as to find out the attractiveness of student and teacher responses so the distribution of response questionnaires. This type of research is development. The steps of this study are
guided by the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The development stage involves two validators, namely media expertand materials expert to assess the feasibility of media and materials. This stage
also involves thirty-one students and one English teacher at SMP Kartini Taman Sidoarjo. The data collection instrument used is a response questionnaire. The validation results from media expert carried out twice were obtained 77% with the criteria "Good" and the second was obtained 91% with the criteria "Excellent". "Excellent". For the response of the students and the teacher to obtain a score of 100%, then the response from both is very attractive to them.
