EFEKTIVITAS PEMBERIAN KELAS TAMBAHAN UNTUK MENGATASI LEARNING LOSS PADA KELAS 1 A SD NEGERI SIDOKLUMPUK SIDOARJO

Akibat lamanya masa pandemi covid-19 banyak peserta didik yang mengalami learning loss. Learning loss adalah kondisi kehilangan kesempatan untuk menambah ilmu yang dikarenakan adanya proses belajar mengajar yang tertunda pada sebuah generasi tertentu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pemberian kelas tambahan untuk menangani learning loss pada kemampuan membaca dan menulis. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah
kuantitatif non eksperimen dengan metode ex post facto. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peseta didik kelas 1 A SD Negeri Sidoklumpuk Sidoarjo yang mengalami learning loss. Data penelitian terdistribusi secara normal dengan nilai daerah penolakan (D) pada nilai membaca sebelum tambahan kelas sebesar 0,186; D pada nilai menulis senelum kelas tambahan sebesar 0,139; D pada nilai membaca setelah
kelas tambahan sebesar 0,231; dan D pada nilai menulis setelah kelas tambahan sebesar 0,229. Data penelitian juga bersifat homogen dengan nilai f hitung pada nilai peserta didik sebelum kelas tambahan sebesar 1,140 dan f hitung pada nilai peserta didik setelah tambahan kelas sebesar 1,732. Uji hipotesis dengan uji t menunjukkan bahwa hasil penelitian ini adalah pemberian program tambahan kelas efektif dalam menangani learning loss terutama pada peningkatan keterampilan membaca dan menulis peserta didik dengan nilai t hitung sebesar 0,00. Analisis tersebut menyimpulkan bahwa Ho diterima dimana program tambahan kelas efektif dalam menangani learning loss.

Due to the long period of the COVID-19 pandemic, many students experienced learning loss. Learning loss is a condition of losing the opportunity to increase knowledge due to a delayed teaching and learning process in a certain generation. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of giving additional classes to deal with learning loss in reading and writing skills. The type of research used in this research is non-experimental quantitative with an ex post facto method. The population in this study were students of grade 1 A SD Negeri Sidoklumpuk Sidoarjo who experienced learning loss. Eight students who experienced lean loss were given an additional class program, which will be sampled in this study. The research data were normally distributed with the rejection area value (D) on the reading value before the additional class was 0.186; D on the value of writing before the additional class of 0.139; D on the reading value after additional class of 0.231; and D in the writing value after additional class of 0.229. The research data is also homogeneous with the calculated f value on the value of students before additional classes of 1.140 and f arithmetic on the value of students after additional classes of 1.732. Hypothesis testing with t-test shows that the result of this study is that the provision of additional class programs is effective in dealing with learning loss,
especially in improving students' reading and writing skills with a t-count value of 0.00. The analysis concludes that Ho is accepted where the additional class program effectively deals with learning loss.
