Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dengan siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar yang belum dapat memahami materi cerita legenda untuk membaca pemahaman. Dalam kondisi saat ini banyak siswa SD yang keinginan mereka dalam membaca masih
kurang. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini yaitu (1) Mengetahui Proses pengembangan media pembelajaran Pop Up Book terhadap kemampuan membaca Cerita materi Legenda pada siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. (2) Mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran Pop Up Book terhadap kemampuan membaca Cerita materi Legenda pada siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan pengembangan media pembelajaran konkret Pop Up Book yang dapat meningkatkan pemahaman membaca siswa pada saat pembelajaran materi cerita legenda. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model penelitian ADDIE. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah media pembelajaran Pancasila digital. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan angket validasi ahli materi dan ahli media. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Pop Up Book sangat layak
digunakan, sehingga dapat digunakan di sekolah dasar. Hasil validasi materi tahap I memperoleh skor rata-rata 93.3 memiliki tingkat validitas dan kualitas “sangat baik” tapi ada beberapa komponen yang harus direvisi oleh peneliti. Hasil validitas materi tahap II memperoleh skor rata-rata 97.7 memiliki tingkat validitas dan kualitas “sangat baik”. Kemudian hasil validitas dari segi media tahap I memperoleh skor rata-rata 87.5 memiliki tingkat validitas dan kualitas “sangat baik”. Hasil validitas media tahap II memperoleh skor rata-rata 95 memiliki tingkat validitas dan kualitas “sangat baik”. Hasil uji respon lapangan pada guru memperoleh skor rata-rata 96 dengan tingkat validitas dan kualitas “sangat baik”, sedangkan hasil uji respon lapangan pada siswa memperoleh skor rata-rata 95.5 dengan tingkat validitas dan kualitas “sangat baik”. Jadi, Pop Up Book materi cerita legenda (Candi Pari) pada kelas IV Sekolah Dasar layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran di sekolah dasar.

This research is motivated by fourth grade elementary school students who have not been able to understand the material of the pari temple story for reading comprehension. In the current condition, there are many elementary school students whose desire to read is still lacking. The aims of this research are (1) to know the process of developing Pop Up Book learning media on the ability to read stories of legend material in fourth grade elementary school students. (2) Knowing the feasibility of the Pop Up Book learning media on the ability to read Legend material for fourth grade elementary school students. Therefore, it is necessary to
develop Pop Up Book concretelearning media that can improve students' reading comprehension when learning legend story material. This research is a development research using the ADDIE research model. The object of this research is the digital Pancasila learning media. Data were collected through interviews and validation questionnaires from material experts and media experts. The results showed that the Pop Up Book was very feasible to use, so it could be
used in elementary schools. The results of the phase I material validation obtained an average score of 93.3 having a validity level and quality of "very good" but there were several components that had to be revised by the researcher. The results of the material validity phase II obtained an average score of 97.7 having a "very good" level of validity and quality. Then the results of the validity in terms of the first stage of the media obtained an average score of 87.5 having a validity level and quality of "very good". The results of the media validity phase II obtained an average score of 95 having a validity level and quality of "very good". The results of the field response test on the teacher obtained an average score of 96 with a validity and quality level of "very good", while the results of the field response test on students obtained an average score of 95.5 with a validity and quality level of "very good". So, the Pop Up Bookmaterial for legend stories (Candi Pari) in grade IV Elementary School is suitable for use in learning in elementary schools.
