Abstract
Sekolah Dasar Islam (SDI) Wahid Hasyim yang berlokasi di desa Pelipir Sidoarjo adalah sebuah lembaga yang bergerak dalam bidang pendidikan Sekolah Dasar dengan konsep pendidikan yang unik yang memadukan konsep pendidikan
nasional, dan penerapan nilai-nilai pendidikan dalam kegiatan sekolah sehari-hari. mempunyai program tahfidz Al-Qur’an dan mempelajari Al-Qur’an. Hal yang paling diunggulkan adalah mengintegritaskan nilai-nilai dari keislaman dalam proses pembelajaran seperti sholat berjama’ah dan mengaji. namun promosi yang telah dilakukan masih melalui media cetak seperti, spanduk, brosur, kalender dan banner. Sebuah promosi tidak akan berjalan dengan baik apabila tidak ada suatu media penunjang yang kuat yang mempromosikan suatu lembaga. Salah satu media yang efektif untuk promosi suatu produk di antaranya adalah melalui audio visual. Karena di dalam media tersebut terdapat unsur gambar dan suara. Video profil merupakan media yang sering digunakan suatu instansi atau perusahaan untuk melakukan promosi.

Wahid Hasyim Islamic Elementary School (SDI) located in the village of Pelipir Sidoarjo is an institution engaged in the field of elementary school education with a unique educational concept that combines the concept of national
education and the application of educational values in daily school activities. have a tahfidz Al-Qur’an program and study the Al-Qur’an. The most superior thing is integrating Islamic values in the learning process such as congregational prayers and reciting the Koran. but the promotion that has been carried out is still through print media such as banners, brochures, calendars and banners. A promotion will not go well if there is no strong supporting media that promotes an institution. One of the effective media for promoting a product is audio-visual. Because in the media there are elements of images and sounds. Video profile is a medium that is often used by an agency or company to carry out promotions.
This study uses the Visual Communication Design 2 method which originates from safanayong. The stages are research, analysis, synthesis, themes, communication strategy, value-added, media selection, visualization, production/finishing. After the design of this promotional video is complete, the
publication stage is carried out which is uploaded via YouTube or other video�based media. The design of this profile video is expected to be an effort to widely introduce Wahid Hasyim Sidoarjo Islamic Elementary School.
