ANALISIS PEMANTAUAN KUALITAS AIR DI KALI SAMPEAN KABUPATEN BONDOWOSO MENGGUNAKAN METODE INDEKS PENCEMARAN

Pemantauan kualitas air sungai merupakan bagian penting untuk melihat informasi atau gambaran kualitas air kali. Kondisi Kali Sampean ini menggambarkan tercemar ringan maka dari itu diperlukan analisis kualitas air kali tersebut. Kali Sampean merupakan salah satu Kali di Kabupaten Bondowoso. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan melakukan sampling pada 2 titik, dan analisis kualitas air Kali Sampean Kabupaten Bondowoso. Tujuan mengetahui kualitas air pada parameter biologi, kimia, fisika dan mengetahui nilai indeks pencemaran air dan status mutu di Kali Sampean Kabupaten Bondowoso. Parameter yang di gunakan pH, DO, TDS, TSS, BOD, COD, T-Phospat, Nitrat, Amonia, Fecal Coliform, Total Coliform. Menggunakan metode Indeks Pencemar (IP) menurut ) menurut Keputusan Menteri Lingkungan Hidup No 115 Tahun 2003 tentang Penentuan Status Mutu Air untuk mengetahui tingkat pencemaran sungai lampiran II. Baku Mutu kualitas air berdasarkan Lampiran VI PP 22 Tahun 2021 tentang penyelenggaraan perlindungan dan pengelolaan lingkungan hidup. Berdasarkan penelitian Skirpsi mengenai analisis kualitas air Kali Sampean menggunakan metode Indeks Pencemaran (IP) ini, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa Kualitas air di Kali Sampean berdasarkan parameter fisika, kimia, biologi, terdapat 11 parameter pH, DO, TDS, TSS, BOD, COD, T-Phospat, Nitrat, Amonia, Fecal Coliform, Total Coliform. 8 parameter sudah memenuhi baku mutu air kelas III. PP No.22 Tahun 2021, sedangkan 3 parameter yang lainnya melebihi baku mutu yaitu DO, BOD, Amonia. Status mutu air di tentukan menggunakan metode Indeks Pencemaran (IP). Hasil nilai kedua lokasi dengan nilai 2,39 pada lokasi 1 dan lokasi 2 dengan nilai 4.80. Dari hasil perhitungan Indeks
Pencemaran status mutu pada kedua lokasi dengan kondisi “Cemar Ringan”.

River water quality monitoring is an important part of viewing information or a picture of river water quality. Kali Sampean is one of the rivers in Bondowoso Regency.
This research was conducted by sampling at 2 points, and analyzing the water quality of the Sampean River, Bondowoso Regency. The aim is to determine the quality of water in biological, chemical, physical parameters and to determine the value of the water pollution index and quality status in the Sampean River, Bondowoso Regency. The parameters used are pH, DO, TDS, TSS, BOD, COD, T-Phospat, Nitrate, Ammonia,
Fecal Coliform, Total Coliform. Using the Pollution Index (IP) method according to the Decree of the Minister of Environment No. 115 of 2003 concerning Determination of Water Quality Status to determine the level of river pollution in Appendix II. The quality standard for water quality is based on Appendix VI PP 22 of 2021 concerning the
implementation of environmental protection and management. The results show the quality of the Sampean River water based on physical, chemical, biological parameters, there are 11 parameters pH, DO, TDS, TSS, BOD, COD, T-Phospat, Nitrate, Ammonia, Fecal Coliform, Total Coliform. 8 parameters have met the class III water quality standards. PP No.22 of 2021, while the other 3 parameters exceed the quality standards, namely DO, BOD, ammonia. Water quality status is determined using the Pollution Index (IP) method. The results of the value of the two locations with a value of 2.39 at location 1 and location 2 with a value of 4.80. From the results of the calculation of the Pollution Index, the quality status at the two locations was Lightly Polluted.
