Abstract

Sumber daya air merupakan komponen penting bagi kehidupan dan diolah agar dapat memenuhi kebutuhan. Pencemaran mikroplastik juga terdapat di laut, air limbah, air tawar,
makanan, udara dan sumber air bahkan pada air bersih. Beberapa mikroplastik yang ditemukan dalam air bersih dapat berasal dari sistem pengolahannya. Berdasarkan penelitian
ini adalah mendeteksi kelimpahan mikroplastik pada Instalasi Pengolahan Air (IPA) PERUMDA Delta Tirta Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui kelimpahan penurunan
dan kelimpahan mikroplatik pada setiap unit pengolahan air di IPA Siwalanpanji, dan luaran dari penelitian ini diharapkan mampu memberikan kontribusi keilmuan mengenai kelimpahan dan bahaya mikroplastik pada air pada air bersih. Metode untuk menganalisis kelimpahan mikroplastik pada air bersih di IPA Siwalanpanji menggunakan mikroskop dengan sampel diambil pada 6 titik pada proses pengolahan IPA Siwalanpanji, yaitu intake, flokulasi, koagulasi, sedimentasi, filtrasi, disenfeksi. Sampel diambil 1 liter disetiap titik dan dipreparasi dengan larutan H2O2, larutan Fe 0,5, NaCl sebelum dianalisis kelimpahan mikroplastik menggunakan mikroskop. Hasil menunjukkan kelimpahan mikroplastik tertiggi terdapat pada unit pengolahan intake yaitu sebanyak 114.000 partikel/m3, prasedimentasi
139.000 partikel/m3, koagulasi 240.000 partikel/m3,flokulasi 281.000 partikel/m3, sedimentasi 340.000 partikel/m3, filtrasi 330.000 partikel/m3. Bentuk mikroplastik didominasi
fiber pada unit pengolahan intake dengan ukuran 275,81 µm prasedimentasi dengan ukuran 1329,46 µm, koagulasi dengan ukuran 1897,49 µm, flokulasi dengan ukuran 516,98 µm, sedimentasi dengan ukuran 2759.10 µm, filtrasi dengan ukuran 456.60 µm serta didominasi oleh warna hitam dan transparan. Terjadi peningkatan kelimpahan mikroplastik pada setiap
unit pengolahan yang diduga dikarenakan pemecahan mikroplastik menjadi mikroplastik, sehigga jumlah mikroplastik yang tedeteksi mengalami peningkatan.

Water resources are an important component for life and are processed in order to meet needs. Microplastic pollution is also found in seas, wastewater, fresh water, food, air and
water sources, even in clean water. Some of the microplastics found in clean water can come from the treatment system. Based on this research is to detect the abundance of microplastics in the Perumda Delta Tirta Sidoarjo water treatment installation (IPA). This study aims to determine the abundance of microplastic degradation and abundance in each water treatment unit at the Siwalanpanji IPA, and the results of this study are expected to be able to provide a scientific contribution regarding the abundance and dangers of microplastics in water in clean water. The method for analyzing the abundance of microplastics in clean water at Siwalanpanji IPA uses a microscope with samples taken at 6 points in the Siwalanpanji IPA processing, namely intake , flocculation, coagulation, sedimentation, filtration, disinfection. Samples were taken 1 liter at each point and prepared with H2O2 solution, Fe 0.5 solution,
NaCl before analyzing the abundance of microplastics using a microscope. The results showed that the highest abundance of microplastics was found in the intake proces unit, which was 114,000 particles/m3, pre-sedimentation 139,000 particles/m3, coagulation 240,000 particles/m3, flocculation 281,000 particles/m3, sedimentation 340,000 particles/m3, filtration 330,000 particles/m3. Microplastic forms are dominated by fiber in the intake processing unit with a size of 275.81 µm pre-sedimentation with a size of 1329.46
µm, coagulation with a size of 1897.49 µm, flocculation with a size of 516.98 µm, sedimentation with a size of 2759.10 µm, filtration with a size of 456.60 µm and dominated by black and transparent. There was an increase in the abundance of microplastics in each processing unit which was thought to be due to the breakdown of microplastics into
microplastics, so that the number of detected microplastics increased.
