Abstract

PT. XYZ adalah perusahaan cokelat internasional yang mengkhususkan diri dalam mengolah bungkil kakao menjadi bubuk kakao. Masalah yang sering dihadapi perusahaan dalam proses produksi adalah sering terjadinya kerusakan yang tidak terduga atau breakdown mesin karena masalah yang tidak terduga. Diketahui ketersediaan mesin yang ada di PT. XYZ khususnya pada ACM 1 grinding 1 adalah sekitar 68%. Pada bulan Januari – Desember 2022, didapatkandata downtime untuk ACM 1 mesin grinding 1 berkisar antara 2146 – 11806 menit,
dengan rata-rata waktu diantara kerusakan mean time between failure (MTBF) untuk ACM 1 mesin grinding 1 sebesar 58 jam. Diharapkan perusahaan dapat meningkatkan kualitas dan mengurangi jumlah kejadian yang tidak diinginkan. Pengolahan dan perhitungan keandalan ACM 1 mesin grinding 1 dilakukan menggunakan metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Kemudian dievaluasi untuk mencari permasalahan tertinggi dengan menggunakan metode Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). Sehingga didapatkan peringkat prioritas perbaikan berdasarkan Risk Priority Number (RPN). Pengolahan data dilakukan menggunakan metode OEE dengan nilai availability sebesar 81%, performance efficiency sebesar 58% dan quality ratio sebesar 58%. Seletah dilakukan analisis data menggunakan FMEA, didapatkan berbagai permasalahan yaitu mesin panas, bahan baku menempel pada dinding pipa elbow tempering, kurangnya kualitas bahan baku, ventilasi ruangan kurang, tidak ada pendingin mesin dan pengontrolan proses produksi. Setelah dilakukan skoring dengan melihat severity, occurance dan detection pada setiap permasalahan, maka nilai RPN didapat dengan bahan baku menempel pada pipa elbow tempering sebesar 729, kurangnya kualitas bahan baku sebesar 648, ventilasi ruangan kurang sebesar 512, mesin pans sebesar 448, tidak ada pendingin mesin sebesar 392 dan yang terakhir yaitu pengontrolan proses produksi sebesar 252. Dengan nilai RPN kritis yaitu 497. Melihat hasil ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa mesin sering mengalami breakdown dan
overheating disebabkan karena bahan baku mengandung kadar fat tinggi sehingga bahan baku menempel pada dinding pipa elbow tempering. Maka saran alternatif yang dapat penulis berikan kepada perusahaan ialah mengawasi dan mengontrol dibawah naungan tim quality control untuk menyeleksi bahan baku masuk agar kadar fat sesuai spesifikasi standar perusahaan dengan estimasi peningkatan produktivitas setelah dilakukan perbaikan sebesar 22%.

PT. XYZ is an international chocolate company that specializes in processing cocoa cake into cocoa powder. The problem that is often faced by companies in the production process is the occurrence of unexpected damage or machine breakdown due to unexpected problems. It is known that the availability of machines in PT. XYZ especially on ACM 1 grinding 1 is about 68%. In January – December 2022, downtime data obtained for ACM 1 grinding machine 1 ranged from 2146 – 11806 minutes, with an average time between failures the mean time between failure (MTBF) for ACM 1 grinding machine 1 of 58 hours. It is expected that the company can improve quality and reduce the number of unwanted events. Processing and reliability calculation of ACM 1 grinding machine 1 is carried out using the Overall
Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method. Then it is evaluated to find the highest problem using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method. So that the improvement priority rating is obtained based on the Risk Priority Number (RPN). Data processing is carried out using the OEE method with an availability value of 81%, performance efficiency of 58% and quality ratio of 58%. After analyzing the data using FMEA, various problems were found, namely high levels of fat, heat engines, raw materials sticking to elbow tempering pipe wall, lack of raw material quality, insufficient compressor pressure and control of the production process. After scoring by looking at the severity, occurrence and detection of each problem, the RPN value is obtained with the raw material sticking to the elbow tempering pipe wall of 729, lack of raw material quality of 648, insufficient room ventilation of 512, pans machine of 448, no refrigeration machine for 392 and the last is controlling the production process for 252. With a critical RPN value of 497. Seeing these results it can be concluded that the machine often experiences breakdown and overheating due to raw materials containing high levels of fat so that the raw materials stick to the elbow tempering pipe wall. Then the alternative suggestion that the author can give to the company is to supervise and control under
the auspices of the quality control team to select incoming raw materials so that the fat content meets the company's standard specifications with an estimated increase in productivity after repairs of 22%.
