ANALISIS PELAKSANAAN PROGRAM GERAKAN LITERASI SEKOLAH PADA SISWA KELAS V DI SDN KEBOGUYANG JABON

Rendahnya minat baca penduduk Indonesia menyebabkan pemerintah berusaha meningkatkannya melalui penerapan budaya literasi yang dituangkan dalam program yang disebut gerakan literasi sekolah, yang bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan budaya literasi siswa. Salah satu usaha yang dilaksanakan dalam penerapannya seperti pembiasaan membaca pada siswa. Secara umum, tujuan literasi adalah menjadikan satuan pendidikan sebagai komunitas yang mempunyai komitmen dan budaya membaca tinggi serta kemampuan menulis yang intensif. Penelitian ini
merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif karena menjelaskan pelaksanaan program GLS serta hasil evaluasi dan respon guru dan siswa terkait pelaksanaan GLS. Dari tiga tahapan gerakan literasi sekolah menurut kementerian pendidikan dan kebudayaan yaitu tahapan pembiasaan, tahapan pengembangan dan tahapan pembelajaran. Tahapan gerakan literasi sekolah di kelas V yang terlihat adalah tahapan pembiasaan dan tahapan pengembangan. Pada tahapan pembiasaan, digunakan model kegiatan membaca yaitu 1) Membaca Mandiri, 2) Membaca Berpasangan, dan 3) Membaca Bersama. Selama pelaksanaan program tersebut, belum terlihat evaluasi mendalam yang dilakukan oleh guru terkait pelaksanaan program gerakan literasi sekolah di kelas V. Melalui kuisioner respon yang sudah dibagikan peneliti dan diisi oleh guru dan siswa kelas V SDN Keboguyang Jabon,
dapat diketahui bahwa guru dan siswa kelas V memberikan respon yang positif terhadap pelaksanaan program gerakan literasi sekolah di kelas V.

The low reading interest of the Indonesian population has caused the government to try to increase it through the implementation of a literacy culture as outlined in a program called the school literacy movement, which aims to foster a culture of student literacy. One of the efforts carried out in its application is the habit of reading to students. In general, the goal of literacy is to make educational units a community that has a high commitment and culture of reading and intensive writing skills. This research is a qualitative descriptive research because it explains the implementation of the GLS program as well as the evaluation results and responses of teachers and students regarding the implementation of the GLS. Of the three stages of the school literacy movement according to the ministry of education and culture, namely the habituation stage, the development stage and the learning stage. The visible stages of the school literacy movement in class V are the habituation stage and the development stage. At the habituation stage, the model of reading activity is used, namely 1) Independent Reading, 2) Pair Reading, and 3) Joint Reading. During the implementation of the program, there has not been an in-depth evaluation conducted by the teacher regarding the implementation of the school literacy movement program in class V. Through the response questionnaires that have been distributed by researchers and filled in by teachers and students of class V SDN Keboguyang Jabon, it can be seen that teachers and students of class V gave a positive response to the implementation of the school literacy movement program in class V.
