Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi berdasarkan wawancara yang telah dilakukan oleh peneliti, penerapan model pembelajaran yang hanya berorientasi pada guru menimbulkan kurangnya keaktifan peserta didik pada saat proses pembelajaran. Hal ini menyebabkan hasil belajar peserta didik tergolong rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan pengaruh model pembelajaran project based learning (PjBL) terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran IPA materi siklus air kelas V sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian pre experiment dengan desain penelitian one group pretest-postest. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas V SD Negeri Sidoklumpuk sejumlah 120 peserta didik dengan sampel penelitian kelas V B berjumlah 30 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan tes. Ujicoba soal dengan hasil validitas 5 soal termasuk kategori valid dengan hasil reabilitas 0,601 kategori tinggi dan dikatakan reliabel. Hasil rerata pretest diperoleh sebesar 62.53 dengan kategori
sedang dan rerata pada posttest sebesar 87.15 dengan kategori sangat tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data statistik inferensial kriteria uji normalitas pada signifikansi > 0,05 menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal, sedangkan hasil uji t-test 0,000. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran PjBL terhadap hasil belajar di kelas V.

he background of this research is based on interviews conducted by researchers, the application of a teacher-oriented learning model causes a lack of student activity during the learning process. This causes student learning outcomes to be classified as low. The purpose of this research is to describe the effect of the learning model project based learning (PjBL) on the learning outcomes of students in learning science on water cycle material for class V elementary school. This research method is a research methodpre experimentt with research designone group pretest-postest. The population in this study was class V SD Negeri Sidoklumpuk totaling 120 students with a research sample of class V B totaling 30 students. Data collection techniques using observation and tests. The test questions with the results of the validity of 5 questions are included in the valid category with a reliability result of 0.601 in the high category and are said to be reliable. The average pretest results were obtained at 62.53 in the medium category and the average atposttest of 87.15 with very high category. Based on the results of inferential statistical data analysis, the normality test criteria at a significance > 0.05 indicates that the data is normally distributed, while the t-test results are 0.000. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the PjBL learning model on learning outcomes in class V.
