PENGARUH MODEL DISCOVERY LEARNING TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN LITERASI SAINS SISWA DI KELAS V SDN KALISAMPURNO III PADA MATERI HUBUNGAN ANTAR MAKHLUK HIDUP DALAM EKOSISTEM

Skripsi ini membahas tentang pengaruh model Discovery Learning terhadap kemampuan literasi sains siswa di kelas V SDN Kalisampurno III pada materi hubungan antar makhluk hidup dalam ekosistem. Latar belakang dari penelitian ini
yaitu masih kurang tanggapan siswa mengenai masalah sains dikarenakan banyak istilah sulit yang diperoleh siswa misalnya omnivora, komensalisme, parasitisme, biologis, simbiosis, abiotik dll. Diperlukan adanya perbaikan dalam proses pembelajaran dalam rangka mengasah kemampuan literasi sains siswa dan meningkatkan capaian belajarnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh model Discovery Learning pada materi hubungan antar makhluk hidup dalam ekosistem terhadap kemampuan literasi sains siswa di kelas V tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif. Prosedur metode kuantitatif dalam penelitian ini melalui lembar tes berbentuk soal AKM yang akan digunakan untuk pretest dan postest. Lembar tes tersebut sudah di validasi oleh validator ahli materi. Hasil uji validitas dari 20 soal, 10 soal yang valid dengan taraf rhitung > rtabel (0,433) maka soal tersebut valid. Uji reabilitas Cronbach’s Alpha bertaraf 0,879 > 0.06 menunjukkan soal tersebut tingkat reliablenya tinggi. Hasil pretest postest pada uji normalitas menunjukkan signifikan yaitu 0,054 dan 0,079 menunjukkan lebih dari 0,05 yang berdistribusi normal. Uji homogenitas meunjukkan signifikansi 0,437 lebih dari 0,05 yang berdistribusi homogen. Hasil uji-T menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,005 dengan taraf 95% yang diartikan adanya pengaruh Discovery Learning terhadap kemampuan literasi sains siswa di kelas V SDN Kalisampurno
III pada materi hubungan antar makhluk hidup dalam ekosistem dengan rata-rata nilai pretestsejumlah 51,9 dan rata-rata nilai postest 82,3 yang dikategorikan sangat berpengaruh.

This thesis discusses the effect of the Discovery Learning model on the scientific literacy abilities of students in class V SDN Kalisampurno III in the matter of relationships between living things in ecosystems. As for the background of this research, there is still a lack of student responses regarding science problems because there are many difficult terms that students get, for example omnivore, commensalism, parasitism, biology, symbiosis, abiotic etc. Improvements are needed in the learning process in order to hone students' scientific literacy skills and improve their learning outcomes. The purpose of this research is to identify the effect of the Discovery Learning model on the relationship between living things in ecosystems on the scientific literacy skills of students in class V for the 2022/2023 academic year. The method used in this research is a quantitative method. The procedure for the quantitative method in this study is through test sheets in the form
of AKM questions which will be used for pretest posttest. The test sheet has been validated by the material expert validator. The results of the validity test of 20 questions, 10 questions that are valid with the level of rcount > rtable (0.433) then the question is valid. The Cronbach's Alpha reliability test is 0.879 > 0.06 indicating that the question has a high level of reliability. The results of the pretest posttest on the normality test showed a significance of 0.054 and 0.079 indicating more than 0.05 which was normally distributed. The homogeneity test shows a significance of 0.437 more than 0.05 which has a homogeneous distribution. The results of the T-test show that the significance value is 0.000 <0.005 with a level of 95% which means that there is an effect of Discovery Learning on the scientific literacy skills of students in class V SDN Kalisampurno III on the relationship between living things in ecosystems with an average pretest score of 51.9 and an
average posttest score of 82.3 which is categorized as very influential.
