Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan dan pengaruh model Problem Centered Learning terhadap kemampuan menulis narasi siswa Kelas V SDN Ketajen 2 Sidoarjo. Diketahui terdapat beberapa faktor penyebab siswa kurang menyukai menulis dikarenakan: (1) letih ketika menulis kalimat paragraf terlalu banyak, (2) banyak anak yang merasa kecil hati dengan melihat bentuk tulisan tangannya yang tidak jelas dan tidak bisa dibaca, (3) serta kurangnya
minat menulis bagi siswa. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif model eksperimen menggunakan desain Pre-Eksperimental dengan bentuk One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VA SDN
Ketajen 2 Sidoarjo yang berjumlah 26 orang siswa. Data yang dikumpulkan menggunakan tes akhir sesudah diberikan perlakuan, dan data hasil penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif menunjukkan memperoleh nilai hasil belajar siswa
sebesar 371 > 0,05 postest 157 > 0,05, Data hasil analisis SPSS menunjukkan bahwa nilai hasil belajar siswa kelas VA dan posttest dikelas VA kemampuan menulis narasi siswa berdistribusi normal. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis menggukan
uji Paired Samples T Test diketahui sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000. Karena nilai 0,000 lebih kecil dari < 0,05 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis diterima. Artinya ada perbedaan antara nilai hasil belajar siswa sebelumnyaa dan posttest.
Berdasarkan uji hipotesis dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ha di terima dan Ho ditolak. Maka penggunaan model Problem Centered Learning berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan menulis narasi siswa kelas V SDN Ketajen 2 Sidoarjo.

This study aims to determine the use and influence of the Problem Centered Learning model on the ability to write narratives of Class V students at SDN Ketajen 2 Sidoarjo. It is known that there are several factors causing students to
dislike writing because: (1) they are tired when writing too many paragraph sentences, (2) many children feel discouraged by seeing the form of their handwriting that is unclear and unreadable, (3) and a lack of interest write for students. This type of research is a quantitative research experimental model using a Pre-Experimental design with the form of One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample of this research was the VA class students of SDN Ketajen 2 Sidoarjo, which consisted of 26 students. The data were collected using the final test after being given treatment, and the research data were analyzed descriptively showing
that the student learning outcomes were 371 > 0.05 posttest 157 > 0.05. in class VA the ability to write narratives of students is normally distributed. Based on the hypothesis test using the Paired Samples T Test, it is known that the sig (2-tailed) is 0.000. Because the value of 0.000 is less than <0.05, it can be concluded that the hypothesis is accepted. This means that there is a difference between the
scores of previous student learning outcomes and the posttest. Based on the hypothesis test, it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. So the use of the Problem Centered Learning model has an effect on the ability to write narratives of fifth grade students at SDN Ketajen 2 Sidoarjo.
