Abstract
Ada empat strategi dalam pengajaran pemahaman membaca, yaitu: Scaffolding, QARs, Reciprocal Teaching dan Thinking aloud. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru Bahasa Inggris di MI Bilingual Roudlotul Jannah Prambon. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah observasi, catatan lapangan dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menemukan tiga strategi yang digunakan guru yaitu
Scaffolding, Reciprocal Teaching dan QARs (Question Answer Relationship). Strategi scaffolding dapat dikembangkan siswa mengenai ide-ide yang dapat dibaca oleh siswa. QARs (Question Answer Relationship), guru mampu mengetahui sejauh mana siswanya memahami apa yang diberikan guru kepadanya. Dan guru mampu mengetahui sejauh mana siswa memahami tugas setelah membaca teks yang telah diberikan dan siswa dibimbing untuk lebih fokus pada teks tersebut dan memahami apa isi teks tersebut.

There were four strategies in teaching reading comprehension, namely: Scaffolding, QARs, Reciprocal Teaching and Thinking aloud. The method of this research was qualitative research. The subject of this research was English teachers at MI Bilingual Roudlotul Jannah Prambon. The instruments of this research were observation, field notes and interviews. The results of the research found that the three strategies that the teachers used, Scaffolding, Reciprocal Teaching and QARs (Question Answer Relationship). Scaffolding strategies students can develop about ideas which are readable by students. QARs (Question Answer Relationship), the teacher is able to know how far their students understand what the teacher has given to them. And the teacher is able to know how far the student understands the task after reading the text that has been given and the students are guided to focus more on the text and understand what the content of the text.
