AN ANALYSIS OF THE STUDENTS DIFFICULTIES IN WRITING DESCRIPTIVE TEXT AT GRADE VII MTs SABILIL KHOIR

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kesulitan siswa saat menulis Deskriptif teks. Siswa sering merasa bingung dan kurang tertarik saat menulis Deskriptif teks karena dianggap mengarang itu sulit. Minimnya penjelasan dan contoh soal pada materi tersebut juga menjadi penyebab kurangnya minat siswa dalam menulis teks deskriptif.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membuat proses pembelajaran menjadi lebih menarik dan interaktif dengan memberikan contoh teks deskriptif dengan struktur yang tepat , observasi dan angket siswa untuk mengetahui letak kesulitan siswa saat menulis Deskriptif teks. Penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif, hasil dari angket banyak siswa kesulitan di ejaan 75% dan grammar 76%. Dari hasil tersebut dapat dikatakan bahwa siswa perlu meningkatkan dari segi grammar dan ejaan.

This research was motivated by students' difficulties when writing descriptive texts . Students often feel confused and less interested when writing descriptive texts because they think that composing is difficult. The lack of explanations and examples of questions on the material is also the cause of students' lack of interest in writing descriptive texts. The purpose of this research is to make the learning process more interesting and interactive by providing examples of descriptive texts with the right structure, observations and student questionnaires to find out where students' difficulties are when writing descriptive texts. This study used descriptive qualitative, the results of the questionnaire showed that many students had difficulty with
spelling 75% and grammar 76%. From these results it can be said that students need to improve in terms of grammar and spelling.
