Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Kartini pada bulan Juni 2022. Peneliti memiliki kesempatan unutuk meneliti dan mengamati kelas 8B, yang mana ada 28 siswa sebagai responden. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) bagaimana pengimplementasian film Inggris saat belajar bahasa Inggris, (2) bagaimana respon siswa ketika film Inggris digunakan saat belajar bahasa Inggris. Penelitian
ini menggunakan qualitative sebagai metode penelitian; dengna teknik penelitian menggunakan observasi dan kuesioner, dan instrumen penelitian yang digunakan ialah lembar observasi, dan lembar kuisioner. Lembar observasi digunakan saat mengobservasi kelas 8 di SMP Kartini, Taman Sidoarjo. Selanjutnya lemabr kuisioner digunakan untuk mengethaui bagaimana respon siswa ketika film Inggris digunakan saat pembelajaran bahasa Inggris. Dari penelitian yang sudah dilakukan ditemukan bahwa, guru dapat mengimplementasikan film Inggris didalam kelas. Dari RPP yang sudah dibuat, guru dapat mengajar sesuai dengan urutan sehingga kegiatan belajar mengajar dapat dilakukan secara sistematis. Dari kuisiner yang diberikan kepada siswa pula juga ditemukan bahwa siswa-siswa merasa sangat enjoy ketika film diputar didepan kelas dan menjadi media belajar mereka. Dari kuesioner juga ditemukan 90% siswa menyatakan bahwa para siswa merasa termotivasi untuk belajar bahasa Inggris mereka untuk lebih baik setelah menonton English movie.

This research was conducted at SMP Kartini in June 2022. The researcher had the opportunity to research and observes 8B class, there were 28 students as respondents. This study was conducted to describe (1) how to implement English movie when learning English, (2) how students respond when English movie are used when learning English. This research uses qualitative as a research method; research techniques using observation and questionnaires, and the research instruments used were observation sheets, and questionnaire sheets. The
observation sheet was used when observing the 8th grade at SMP Kartini, Taman Sidoarjo. Furthermore, the questionnaire sheet was used to find out how students responded when English movie were used when learning English. Based on the
research that has been done, it is found that teacher can implement English moviein the classroom. From the lesson plans that have been made, teachers can teach in accordance with the lesson plan so the teaching and learning activities can be carried out systematically. From the questionnaire given to the students, it was also found that the students really enjoyed it when the film was shown in front of the class and became a media for their learning. From the questionnaire it was also found that 90% of students stated that they felt motivated to learn their English better after watching an English movie.
